I've had a severe reaction to weightloss medication. Anyone else?

Just a the title says.
I took a while to be approved and I have now been taken off Wegovy.
I have been ill constantly.
Turns out I have gallstones and the drugs inflammed my gallbladder. I've also had constant stomach issues.
Now waiting on the surgical team to agree on my treatment.
In the fist few weeks I had constant D and V. When I eat something I sound like a spin cycle. I've not had a jab for ten days so I'm hoping this gets better.

I'm allergic to a lot of meds and this is the reason I won't try weight loss meds despite friends having great success. I hope you feel better soon.

Yes it’s know you can’t take them if you have gallstones. Sorry op.

Not sure what an 'allergy' has to do with gallstones.

Hope you feel better soon, OP. x

So sorry you've had a reaction OP - I had a horrendous reaction to pethedine in labour and couldn't stop being sick, it was terrifying.

Hope the treatment is swift and effective and you feel better soon Flowers

Im sorry to hear you had a reaction to Wegovy. I did too. I lasted 2 weeks on it but was depressed and felt so sick all the time that my doctor prescribed me anti sickness medication, I felt weak, and exhausted too.
It was horrible 😢

I'm concerned about having a reaction to it.

I posted because I didn't know I had gallstones and therefore I got such a serious side effect.
Some later data says you can take the WLD if you've had your gallbladder out. I won't be trying that after spending nearly a fortnight in bed and being put on the list for surgery.
Mind you it reminds me of the slimming drugs of the 1980s which basically made you do the ironing at 2pm. I couldn't hack those either.
