I'm thinking of starting Saxenda - I have just done my consultation and am wondering how long a 3ml pen will last me? Thanks

One Saxenda pen holds 3ml (18mg) of Liraglutide. If you’re wondering how long one Saxenda pen lasts for, it varies. When you start your treatment, you will have around 17 days worth of doses in one pen.
When your dosage increases as advised by the dosing schedule, you will use a pen more quickly - many people start taking 3mg of Saxenda after a while. At this point, you will use a pen in 6 days.

Is there a reason you've gone for Saxenda over one of the weekly ones? I used Saxenda a couple of years ago, I much prefer a weekly injection to a daily one.

Price if I'm honest! I also absolutely don't mind injecting! Expert in it in fact!
