Did my first jab of Munjaro 0.25 last night.

I weighed myself last night to get a proper weight before weighing again next week and I weighed in the bathroom instead of the hallway (carpet) and Im showing over a stone heavier than I did on Sunday when I took the photo to send to the provider 🙄do I need to email them as I'll do well to lose that much in a month and if they ask for my weight before my next order it'll probably show as a gain.

Also its PMT week (period due in 4 days, give or take - thanks perimenopause...) will this make a difference, I get so hungry this week normally

Thanks

Hi OP, if you're taking Mounjaro, it's 2.5mg not 0.25mg (very important to know these measurements and their differences). 0.25mg will suggest Wegovy.

It wouldn't matter even if you gained by the next order. I wouldn't bother but you could send them an email for your peace of mind. Also, are you sure the scales are accurate?

Menstrual cycle can affect some people's appetite and weight gain but it shouldn't make much difference. Even if it did affect you, it should sort itself out again afterwards.

Was about to post everything that @IMustBeInvisible has said!

I would check your scales by weighing something you know the weight of, like a couple of bags of flour, sugar, tins or similar and check that it's within range. Then stick to the same bit of floor each time at the same time of day, in the bathroom without carpet rather than in your hallway with carpet.

Also if you'd only just moved the scales, that can make a difference. Mine weigh heavier if I just moved them, they need a few minutes to settle.

Thank you, I've double checked the scales and they are right using the bath room floor, I did think it was a bit low when I weighed on Sunday should have known it was too good to be true!

I never knew about letting them settle, I'll remember that for next week.

I'll just see how this week goes - fingers crossed

When you have dieted before you will probably have noticed your appetite and weight loss fluctuated with your cycle. I have seen many posters saying it is the same for them with MJ, so you might still see the same pattern.

The main thing is an overall downward trend, even if there is the odd week you don't lose due to your cycle.
