Can I delay my dose by two days?

Hi, I'm currently on 7.5 of Mounjaro, injecting every Friday. I'd like to switch to injecting on Sundays so that I can eat a little more at weekends and less during the week. I was thinking I'd switch to Saturday one week and then to Sunday the following, but I'm out this Saturday evening and if I inject on the day and then go out for a meal I'll feel nauseous during the night.

So am I OK to inject two days late?

I don't plan to overdo it or anything- just soup and salad or just a big salad. At the moment when I go out for a meal on Saturday evening for example, it's really noticeable that I'm not eating much at all and I get comments that I have to deflect.

Yes, agree that this is no problem. It's mentioned in the patient leaflet that comes with the pen, you can vary the day you inject. I am in the process of doing this, I delayed injecting by 3 days (till Monday) as I was unwell, and have then been bringing it back to my usual day of the week (Friday) by moving it back one day each week.

Yes. I inject on Sunday or Monday evening for precisely this reason.

Any regular deviation from the 7 day dosing schedule should be discussed with your provider. Any decent provider will be open to the conversation.

I've just done that as I didn't want to inject whilst on holiday. Injected today instead of last Wednesday.
