Help me understand the dosage please?

I have just got the 5mg pen but it says that you inject .6mg per week? It is definitely the 5mg pen / paperwork. Where has the 5mg come from? You turn it to the number 1 before you inject. I am just really confused. 0.6 x 4 = 2.4 😶 I am sure it is just me being stupid but would anyone be able to explain? Thanks x

It's the strength of the medication, not the quantity

2.4 is the ml (quantity ) 5 is the mg (strength)

every dose is 0.6ml regardless of pen strength

5mg is the strength and 0.6ml is the quantity in each dose.

There's 5mg of the active ingredient (tirzepatide) in each 0.6ml dose of liquid.
