Late injecting

Hi all, just wondering what you would do.

I'm just about to go from 7.5 to 10mg but I left it late re-ordering and then there were delays with Medexpress so I'm two days late injecting (should have been Wednesday).

I'm going to do it tonight but not sure if going to 10mg after being two days late is a bad idea!

Would you go straight to 10mg or count the clicks and do 7.5mg again?

I've been on it since June if that makes any difference.

I would take the 10mg as you were planning to tonight. You can vary the day you inject if you need to according to the patient information leaflet, and this is well within that tolerance range.

You should be fine.

Oh that's great thanks for answering, you'd think after 5 months I wouldn't be so nervous!

It's in the instruction booklet that comes with the pen, in case you're wanting reassurance. There's a section on missed doses. You're well within the acceptable time to just take your dose as usual.
