Mounjaro - nose bleeds?

Is this a thing as I've read a few Reddit pieces saying it might be?? My DH has been on Mounjaro for nearly 6 months and in the past week has started having really bad nosebleeds almost daily. The doctor gave him some antibiotic cream to rub around his nostrils, but I'm not convinced it's bacterial...

That’s so weird you posted about this. I had a nosebleed yesterday. The first time for absolute years. I hadn’t heard it was any kind of side effect but yeah, it’s happened to me.

Mmm, I've never known him to have a nosebleed in the past 25 years! Anyone else??

Happend to me last friday while I was driving, felt my top lip was wet- touched it, seen it was blood. Also been on mounjaro 6ish months

Might be worth yellow carding this to the MHRA…there’s another post on here about a woman who has started noticing lots of bruises, might suggest there’s something going on blood wise. Is he diabetic?

Sadmum71 · 22/11/2024 16:49

Nope not diabetic! Very odd symptom though...

I have lots of little bruises appearing I just thought I bruised easily but making me wonder now.
And (I'm sorry) but if I pick my nose even slightly it causes a big nose bleed !! But I did find that happened to me during pregnancy too 😆
