Bought first injection (for DH) on Monday evening but order still showing at pending. Is this normal? Should he have had some contact by now?

It usually shows as pending until the night before delivery is due. When did you select for delivery?

Ah ok, so this isn’t because it’s a first order? Delivery date is Friday. How do we know if the prescription has been approved or if he will need a video consultation?

I'm think I read somewhere up to 72hrs for new patients to be approved.

If your delivery date is Friday you should be ok (I assume it didn't allow an earlier delivery date to account for the approval time), they tend to process them in priority of delivery date, I've seen orders I have placed well in advance to take advantage of discounts not being approved for a couple of weeks.

Unlikely to need a consultation video unless there are issues/complex history.

I didn’t need a consultation, it just arrived on the due date.

DH did his first order on Monday and still pending. They rang him yesterday with a small query about something, so I think it's just in the pipeline.

It took 3 days or so for my first one to be approved if I remember rightly, subsequent ones have been quicker.
