Returning to MJ

I am returning to Mounjaro after approx 8 weeks off (I have gained back at least 10lbs) I have a 2.5mg pen however was going to start on 2mg - does anyone know how many clicks this would be on the pen? I am very skeptical after the recent news of a death linked to Mounjaro and worried about adverse side effects however I am also back to square one with eating and want back on it! Help!

Clicks = (2/2.5) x 60 = 48

It sounds like you need MJ to lose weight and not put your long-term health at risk. There are thousands of deaths linked each year to hundreds of medicines starting with paracetamol. Don't take too seriously one news report which can't even prove the death was related to MJ.

What were your side-effects? Many people find a) eating really clean minimises side effects; b) micro-dosing minimises side effects.

Eating really clean means focus on protein, veggies, healthy fats, pre-biotics, pro-biotics, and leave out sugar, carbs, deep-fried, ultra-processed, fast-foods, diet drinks etc.

2.5 mg is 60 clicks means 2mg is 48 clicks. Clicks are each little turn you make before you inject. If you were having side effects at 2.5mg, maybe drop to 1.25 mg or 30 clicks and build up from there.

Yeah asking strangers on the internet for medical advice regarding something you are going to inject in yourself...

Find a normal way of eating that gives you a sustainable calorie deficit and you will lose weight. Might be slow but you will.

Sorry to hear this! I stopped MJ 4 weeks ago this week and would be interested when you started to put the weight back on?

Did you daily weigh and what do you think was the trigger. Putting on nearly 2 stone in just over 2 months sounds pretty drastic, are you sure that it’s not something else medically that’s caused that?

Hope MJ manages to help you again quickly

Hi @Ebbyfroom thanks for your reply! I wrote 10 lbs so that's just over half a stone really? I am greedy and I think about food constantly and that's the sum size of it. I exercise regularly and the food I do eat isn't overly unhealthy. I just love food!
