5th dose Mounjaro?

Hi all, I have had 4 doses of 2.5mg of Mounjaro over the last 4 weeks. I ordered my next pen which arrived yesterday with 6 needles. There's close to a full dose remaining in my original pen, is this safe to inject? I have seen people doing bonus doses - has anyone done this? Thank you!

The pen will be locked after the 4 doses. Some people force the mechanism by twisting it hard. Some others use an insulin syringe to draw out the additional medication stored in the pen.

There must be hundreds of posts on here describing the methods used.

Remember the 30 days after opening safety rule. (5 doses from a pen would be within this window.)

I use the extra liquid using hard twist, I need to use plier as my hands aren't strong enough to break/twist the pen but it has injected as normal. If you inject on days 0,7,14,21,28 you are within 30 days.

Some are saying newer pens might have changed to prevent using the spare liquid and hard twist doesn't work anymore, I've been ok so far.

Alternatively you can extract with a syringe bought from a medical supplier (not amazon). 0.6ml is a full dose of any pen. I haven't used a syringe but have some on standby, but if you are unsure of anything ask BEFORE you do it.
