Question about delivery

I've ordered my first pen. What happens if you are not in when it arrives? My neighbour often takes packages if I'm out but will it be okay out of the fridge in a house until I get in from work? I know it is packed in insulating packaging. Will it fit through a letterbox?

It won't fit through a letter box as it is wrapped in insulation with an icepack which should keep it cool for 48hrs from dispatch.

Some couriers will not deliver to a neighbour if it is sent as "signed for", if they do it should be ok until you get home if dispatched the day before.

I was just thinking, when we get packages for our neighbour we leave them in the hallway...............beside the radiator! I'll need to watch out for that in future!

What courier is it? The one time that I wasn't in for delivery DPD took it back to the depot and re delivered the next day. Because it's cold chain they won't leave it in a safe place or with a neighbour.

I recently had one delayed 72 hours due to Royal Mail, I contacted my prescriber and they said that as long as it's used within 30 days of dispatch it's ok to use, as once you open in it doesn't need to be stored in the fridge anyway. Won't be suitable for everyone but was fine for me as i was using it straight away anyway

Oushk lets you choose delivery day so might be one way of being able to make sure you're in?
