Hi all.
I started mounjaro in June with a starting weight of 197lb (about 14 stone). I've had little to no side effects apart from feeling a little bit tired the day after injection. I'm currently on 7.5mg but I've really struggled to lose anything these past few months despite tracking calories. I'm struggling with food noise but am still getting full quite quickly.

I've put info below showing dates/dosage/weight so you can see but if you were me, would you go up to 10mg or do a 3rd month of 7.5mg? need to place an order for a new pen but don't want it to be a waste. Any tips that you could share would be great.

1st month - 2.5mg
2nd June - 197lb
9th June - 192lb
16th June - 188lb
23rd June - 187lb

2nd month - 2.5mg
30th June - 187lb
7th July - 184lb
14th July - 183lb
21st July - 180lb

3rd month - 5mg
28th July - 177lb
4th August - 175lb
11th August - 175lb
19th August 173lb

4th month - 5mg
2nd September - 172lb
14th September - 170lb

5th month 7.5mg
21st September - 170lb

6th month 7.5mg
13th October - 167lb

Currently still sat at 167lb and feeling a bit disappointed.

I suppose I don’t understand why you followed that schedule. You say you did not have side effects. You also feel your weight loss has been slow. It all indicates you should have followed the standard dosing routine of stepping up to the next dose every 4 weeks, instead of 2 months at each dose. You likely would have had better results if you didn’t do that.

I think the best thing to do is contact your pharmacy and have a chat about your decisions so far and your next steps. By spending 2 months at each dose, you are slowing your progress down, so it does have drawbacks. I suppose you need to figure out what your priorities are.

I personally have stepped up a dose each month and am now BMI 26, so that schedule clearly worked for me.

Also it would be worth keeping a food diary to see if your perceived slow progress is due to your diet

You've lost 30 pounds in 6 months, which is just over 1 pound per week on average. Sustainable weight loss is meant to be between 1 and 2 pounds per week, which is where you are. I wouldn't be disappointed in losing over 2st and maintaining that for 6 months.

I would move up to 10mg in your position, but you could definitely check with your provider.
