Mounjaro - OK out of fridge 21 or 30 days?

Just that really. I was under the impression MJ was fine out of fridge for 30 days. Went to take the first jab from my 2nd 5mg and DH asked why I wouldn’t put it back in the fridge. His thinking was if it was best kept in fridge before use, surely it would be better kept in there for the whole pen use. Said no, it’s absolutely fine room temperature for 30 days.

Had a quick look on the internet, and there are some pharmacists that suggest the shelf life out of the fridge is actually only 21 days?

the cynical part of me thinks its just a ploy to get you to buy the next pen sooner and not use your bonus dose….but then it got me wondering whether those who out of the blue suddenly get symptoms whether the pen has started to deteriorate a little and that’s why?

21 days might be wegovy or US single use Mounjaro pens and the pharmacy has got it wrong on their websites.

Eli Lilly instructions for the UK Mounjaro Kwikpen are to discard 30 days out the fridge or from first use (in or out of fridge), whatever is sooner. Check the leaflets in the box to confirm.
