Is thirty clicks on a 5mg pen the same as a 2.5 dose?

Yes.

Edited to clarify: Each full 'x' mg dose is 60 clicks, so 30 clicks is half of the full 'x' mg. In this case, 30 clicks of a 5mg pen is 2.5mg.

Yes - full detail so you can calculate for any dose with any pen:

A full dose of any pen is 0.60 ml. Each click is 0.01 ml, so there are 60 clicks.

Clicks = (desired dose/standard pen dose) x 60

e.g. (2.5/5.0) x 60 = 30 clicks
