Side effects on week 7

Hi everyone . I'd just be grateful for some reassurance.
I did five weeks on 2.5mg and felt a little nauseous but no big deal.
I then did one week on 5mg and felt quite nauseous.
Now I am on the second 5mg jab and have the most horrible diahorrea and cramps and sulphur burps . I feel dreadful !!
Why would I suddenly feel so bad now when I was ok ish the first week of 5 mg ?? I didn't think the drug built up as the half life is 5 days ?
Thank you for any advice .

The half life is 5 days, that means in 5 days half of the initial dose remains in your system. So over time it does build up as the baseline you're on by the time you get to the next injection is higher.

You can use a website like glp1plotter.com to visualise how the doses build up. I've had a go at entering your dosage schedule as you've described it. You can see that at each injection point the baseline is higher.

Also this is about when I had pretty much exactly the same symptoms, although I did 4 weeks of 2.5mg and went up to 5mg after that.

@DubLass Sorry you're feeling so sick. If you have them or can get them and are able to take them, I'd suggest you take some OTC (Over The Counter) meds: Rennie or peppermint oil capsules like buscomint for the sulphur burps and some Imodium for the cramps and diarrhoea. They should help you feel better. A lot of people go through these issues and find that they subside with OTC meds. These side effects can happen at any time or not at all for some people.

Thank you ! Have taken max dose of Immodium and also some Motilium but still feel pretty dreadful . Thanks goodness it's mid term - no way I could work at the moment .
