Has anyone tried juice + please? I’d appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

It's a MLM which preys on vulnerable people.

Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

Shallysally · 29/10/2024 11:21

@ButtSurgery thank you. I did wonder, there are loads of people on social media promoting it.

Yep it's an old company by MLM standards. They've had a revamp recently I think.

Their claims are around things like "20+ portions of fruit and veg in your daily capsules" then you look at it properly and it's 0.05% of a portion of carrot in each one.

On woman selling it on a local Facebook page was trying to claim it would help with autism, cure arthritis and cancer and all sorts of other shite. And she truly believed what she was saying. Totally unlawful to make these claims, but it happens every day.

Was going to say that is a blast from the past - Juice Plus (have they dropped the plus and use + to be more trendt?) has been around for at least 15 years, it was all the rage when my youngest was a baby. It was as scamtastic then as it is now.

Shallysally · 29/10/2024 11:39

@ButtSurgery when I read the ingredients I was sceptical. Fructose is pretty high on the list. By the sound of what you have said they have extended their range.
The product doing the rounds is a powder that you mix that seems to form into a gel when (I think) you drink it.

Thanks @KnottedTwine

Mostly the people that are selling it are the ones pushing it.

Is it the glucomannan powder? You can buy capsules for 1/3 the price in Holland and Barrett if you really want to use it.

Yes it is. I’ll do a bit more research into how effective it is for weight loss.

They have renamed it Juice Plus +, maybe they are trying to shed their shady history to entice new customers? Who knows.

Embarrassingly joined it to earn some extra cash...quickly saw it for what it was and left. It's a culty MLM

It's pretty scammy...the products are not anything special despite what their marketing may suggest

Please don't waste your money!

Shallysally · 29/10/2024 13:02

Thank you @CookieMonster28, I’ll look at alternatives.

Sounds similar to Forever aloe Vera which is the scammiest of all scams.
