Wegovy and contraception

I have just started wegovy after my 2nd baby

I’ve been overweight all my adult life and am really hoping to finally get myself a healthy weight

im planning on going back on contraception ASAP

does anybody have any experience with contraception and wegovy? I have heard it can interfere with how the pill is absorbed etc.

the pill would be my first choice but failing that I’ll have the depo injection

Oral contraceptives can by impacted by Mounjaro, it is clear on the patient leaflet in the box what is impacted and what additional precautions are needed and when. Is there nothing in the wegovy leaflet?

Yes I’d read that Manjaro can cause adverse reactions with contraceptives but wegovy is different. I hadn’t thought to check the leaflet I’ll have a look
