Mounjaro’ golden dose’

Hi,
I did the (2.5m) golden dose today- as somehow managed to mess up one of the doses in the pen, so was able to get a bit out today using a small 1ml insulin needle/syringe.
Have been injecting in stomach with no issue, but now very tender at injection site and worried I have done something wrong… 😑

Did you prime the syringe, by removing the air before injecting? How much MJ did you draw out? How long is the needle on the syringe?

TBH, I'm pretty sure there is nothing wrong, sometimes you just hit a more tender spot.

I'm sure it'll be fine. There isn't really anything you can do wrong.

Could it be because the insulin needle is a bit longer?

It’s also rather red now. I think I may have introduced a slight infection when messing about with the pen etc…needle length v slightly longer.
not sure the golden dose was worth the hassle tbh 😣

You are varying the site aren't you. You should never inject into the exact same site everytime.

OP, how did you get on in the end, was it infected?
