Just ordered Mounjaro from Medexpress for the first time. Can someone break it down for me? What do I need to know/do?

Thanks!

What exactly do you want to know? There is so much information online, on the threads here and in the booklets that will come with your medicine.

I am sure you will have read lots and researched before you ordered. Do you want advice on protein, diet, side effects, cost, injecting?

Honestly, just spend a couple of hours reading threads on this forum and then googling what you're not sure about. The 'continuing Mounjaro' thread 22 has loads of resources pinned in the top post.

The most important thing is to read and re-read the instructions that come with the injection pen before getting ready to do the first injection. It has written instructions and pictures.

Presumably you've read up @RachelsTrifle on what it is and how it works, before ordering. Is there anything specific that you're not sure about?

Take something like psylum husk daily to keep you moving, take it with a big glass of water.

get some probiotin capsules for your hair. you shouldn’t lose but if you don’t eat right yoh might,

buy the right foods in, plenty of protein, salad, veg, fruits, dried or fresh.

watch a couple of YouTube videos on injecting, the numan one is good

pick a day of the week where you know you’re usually at home to do it.

buy some extra antibacterial wipes and needles if you wish to do the bonus dose, or In case a needle jams.

good luck 💐

I just put in my first order on Saturday through MedExpress and have had an email this morning saying due to an increase in demand there’s a delay in reviewing and prescribing treatment so you may get the same? Fingers crossed it’s not too long to wait
