Just that, where did you order yours from and would you recommend?

@mumsm you're going to get lots of people offering you discount codes shortly, I imagine.

The actual medicine is the same from wherever you get it from. I'd check whether the prescriber provides a sharps bin, spare needles, whether they provide additional ongoing coaching or other levels of support. What kind of delivery they offer, can you pick up from a pharmacy. Whatever combination of those things is important to you. Then choose the cheapest one that meets your specific requirements.

THANK YOU!!

This is all really helpful as a starting point as I have no idea.

I used a Voy code from the dedicated thread. I researched for months to pick a provider, and ended up going with Voy as I wanted the choice of telling my GP, and an easy process.

It was free next day delivery, included every little thing, including swabs, and I'm really pleased with the service. I paid £129. I would recommend.

This is good advice. Voy include a sharps bin as well, I'm really impressed with the completeness of the kit. I need everything to be easy!

I went with Voy for the kit to start with and the discount, then cancelled (it is a subscription) and went with one of the ones on the list (Simple online pharmacy) I still use the little box for the pen from Voy though.

Orangesandlemons77 · 24/10/2024 17:56

Oushk is also a good recommendation and I think they include a little box too. And possibly a tape measure!

Avoid Curate - whilst they are one of the cheapest they have the worst reviewed (wish I'd looked at these before I ordered!). They have took my money and ran! No medication, no refund and no communication.

mumsm · 25/10/2024 23:09

@jefl011 that is awful I'm so sorry to hear that.

Thank you everyone- looks like Voy is popular.

If you decide on Voy take care as the usual prices without a discount can be quite high and it is a subscription so it will just arrive...if you go to cancel after the first order they will take £50 off the next pen

If you prefer to just but pens as needed one of the other pharmacies are just as good / better

Scarlettpixie · 26/10/2024 12:13

I am new. I paid just over £110 with IQ Doctor using the code from the price comparison page. Ordered yesterday and it is arriving today. Starter pack includes the sharps bin. This wasn't clear on the website so I messaged and someone phoned within an hour.

WeAllHaveWings · 26/10/2024 12:33

A free sharps bin would not be a decision maker for me, your sharps bin will last months if not years and only cost a few quid off Amazon.

My main driver for my current provider was they were responsive, reliable, price was reasonable without having to try to get referrals for discounts , and I could pick a delivery date.
