Hello you snake hipped buggers :) @WorriedRelative Tuna for protein! 1 tin = 30g
@ninjacrab and all labrador owners - I just cut my lab/collies toenails. One flicked her way - she ate it. That is however one of the more pleasant snacks....

I can't eat tuna unfortunately, most fish makes me sick. So many diet dishes use fish it is quite difficult!

Aww thank you! Yes I used to post way more, when I was bumbling through everything😂 it’s been fab being able to have the support network here

owlyboo · 28/10/2024 18:15

Sorry I wrote more messages and then got busy with something else and they've deleted so apologies to anyone I've missed! @eeeeeeeee that fabulous to be so close to target!

Some beach photos from earlier

Thank you! These photos are beautiful too

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/10/2024 20:35

@AdeloreSmore I tend to order high as 1) doesnt seem to work for me like others do 2) can count clicks down if need be for a lower dose - again not that I've needed to lower a dose

I'm hardcore

Tbh I haven't seen anyone else on these threads similar to me and no issues of suppression

Am I rare.

@NippyCrab damantions 😂

Bless their spotty socks

Aye they broke that wee mold when they made you lady @Blondeshavemorefun 🤣 😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/10/2024 22:10

Not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not @NippyCrab 😂😂

lookathatbookcase · 28/10/2024 22:19

@eeeeeeeee super congrats on getting where you want to be; hope you'll still be around here for the occasional blessing.

@owlyboo gorgeous pics; love the second one in particular.

@Changinghabits1973 when I was in Brighton it was definitely a bit more 'alternative' - vegan/organic supermarkets before they were mainstream, I had my first major non-earlobe piercing there before they were common (if I'm making myself sound cool, please believe I absolutely am not).

20bloodypounds · 28/10/2024 23:44

@eeeeeeeee does your prescription provider offer any kind of maintenance regime? If not, have a look at Oushk. I'm thinking of switching to them. You could switch now while you are still above BMI 25. That might give you more options for the future if you think you might want to continue taking MJ for a while, or if you find your weight increasing again.

However, you are 4kg off the top end of a 'normal' BMI (whatever that is?) and you seem to be looking to potentially another 9kg beyond that... That's quite a drop, almost a stone and a half. I know that would not be a healthy look for me.

eeeeeeeee · 29/10/2024 00:07

@lookathatbookcase ahh thank you!! That’s so lovely 🥰

@20bloodypounds thank you for that! And that’s fair enough, I actually used to be that lower weight for the majority of my adult
life before I gained weight, so I’m confident that I’d look healthy if I returned to that weight. I’m 5ft tall so when I was previously at the top end of healthy BMI (25) I had back fat rolls, a belly etc. Short figures are a bit extreme in that weight gain looks much more prominent than it does on average/tall figures. Even now at BMI 26, my thighs, arms and back haven’t shrunk much since I was obese.

Wingingit11 · 29/10/2024 02:53

@20bloodypounds just to say oushk have a 16% discount running at the moment if you need pens!

Has anyone moved from voy to Asda pharmacy/zava?

My voy subscription is £229 so I looked around and asda/zava do the same for £189 but I don't want to be left without so I'm on the fence.

I'm currently on the 7.5mg with 2 doses left and, because of all the bonus doses, I have 1 full 10mg pen in the fridge.

I'm just on the Asda website and it says order but if I left it for a couple of weeks, would it be OK? I don't want to be rejected. How do they approve you? Does someone contact you after you've paid?

My current bmi is 30.18 according to the voy app so technically, I should be approved, shouldn't I?

MargoLivebetter · 29/10/2024 08:53

@NippyCrab I wonder what is going on with your wee issues. I definitely notice that nights 2 and 3 after injecting I wee more. Thanks be to all that is good in the universe, I'm not up every two hours and I have yet to nearly wet myself, but instead of getting up once to pee, on nights 2 & 3 I will get up twice and even that feels like a hardship!!!!

I don't have anything to offer but I can imagine it is stressful. I think if it is out of the ordinary for you and is still going on in another few days, you might want to see (or talk to) the GP.

Yay @eeeeeeeee nearly being there. That is fantastic.

doingitthistime · 29/10/2024 09:11

@Princessandthepie I moved from Asda to Zava, Zava send Asda's but were cheaper going direct. Process is as I presume others to be, fill in questionaire, choose pen and pay. Then for the first order they ask for photos. No direct conversation. I do have a 15% off if you wanted it. x

JoyousSwan · 29/10/2024 09:12

29.5lb down since 5th August. Lost 2.5lb this week 😀 Enjoying my clothes being looser but my gosh I'm always freeeeezzzzing!!!!

MabelSpan · 29/10/2024 09:14

@Princessandthepie I have been with Asda from the start, never had a problem. I ordered my last pen on Sunday evening and it was approved yesterday.

owlyboo · 29/10/2024 09:15

Well done @JoyousSwan !

Ooo yes please. I'll look at zava directly, thanks

Princessandthepie · 29/10/2024 09:26

I went to cancel voy and they offered 50 quid off so I'll take that this month then cancel after.

AuntieDote · 29/10/2024 09:34

Urgh, bad bad night - since injecting on Sunday night I started with sulfur burps, cramps etc. Lots of toilet visits in the evening - needed to go (and did) but struggle each time. Horrendous wind and pains in the night (my poor DH) before eventually getting up around 4 to go to the loo again and then started being sick.

Thought I’d cracked this, taking omeprazole plus peppermint capsules, keeping on top of fibre (including fibre gummies) so as not to get constipated, tons of kombucha and biomel for my gut, peppermint and ginger tea through the day etc etc. Feel awful today - when this kicks in it makes me seriously doubt my ability to keep going with mj - the money and effort of keeping the worst side effects and bay and even then it doesn’t always work.

I did 6.25 on my 5 pen by counting clicks this time - so think it’s the move up that’s set me off, but the 5 wasn’t working in terms of suppression. Can’t undo it now either way, but might have to stay at 5 next time (although already ordered my next pen as a 7.5)

Timetochange24 · 29/10/2024 09:38

@Princessandthepie well done - I tried that with Voy (sent a message saying I think I'm going to leave because you're so expensive) and their customer service immediately cancelled my account 🤣 It was quite a painful process to sort it out!!

Princessandthepie · 29/10/2024 09:41

@Timetochange24 I pressed on cancel, it's too expensive and the offer with a 5 minute timer came up so no time to dally about. Moving would save £40 a month so this is a good deal for this month.

doingitthistime · 29/10/2024 09:43

@Princessandthepie that sounds like a plan 😁

Timetochange24 · 29/10/2024 09:45

@Princessandthepie I clearly pressed the wrong buttons when I tried 🤦🏻‍♀️ I would have liked to stay with Voy for the coaching but it was just too much money full price. Hope you have a good month ahead with them.

Princessandthepie · 29/10/2024 09:50

I also have lots of time to sort it out now as I 2 doses on my current 7.5mg pen, a full 10mg pen and a new 10mg pen on the way.

Is anyone else getting really worried about what happens after?
I know I shouldn't read the Mounjaro bashing threads but the vile bitching and glee that anyone who come off them will instantly gain the weight and more back is beginning to make me fidgety!!
