Top Tips for Newbies First Month!

I start with 2.5 MJ tomorrow, and I'm really excited about it!

I've been trying to pick up loads of tips on these threads, but thought I'd start a thread dedicated to everyone's best-ever, top tips for the first month!

I really want to maximise my results in this first month, to keep me motivated (I know what I'm like), so I'd really love to hear everyone's ideas for doing that!

Not really a tip as such but more of an insight… stick with the 2.5mg and don’t lose hope. I was under the impression I’d feel full from a mouth full of air when I started a couple weeks ago. When in reality you still do want to eat, but it quietens your mind & makes it easier to follow a calorie deficit and delay eating! This week I’m finding much easier than my first and not interested in food. Basically what I’m trying to relay is, it sometimes doesn’t kick in immediately & don’t lose hope. It will work for you, you’re unlikely to have any side effects on 2.5mg at all so also don’t stress about feeling horrid like I did! I worked myself up so much and kept delaying taking it until the perfect time when I should’ve just done it! Good luck

Kinda echoing what the previous reply says..

If you don't feel any different this week, remember the 2.5 is supposed to be just for your body to get used to the drug before you move up to 5mg. You may be lucky and feel suppression you may be unlucky and get some side effects..

My tip would be, get fibre in your diet straight away and drink plenty of water. I've had a couple times been constipated and it ain't nice. Wish I had drank more water etc at the start.

Just bumping this as advice would help. First jab today, some nausea and lots of burping so far.

Zeld · 23/10/2024 23:44

My first jab today! I think I can feel 'something' but I honestly don't know what yet. I'm not eating much, but I could be just imagining any supression.

Can I ask where others injected? I did my thigh.

I jabbed stomach. I might do thigh next week as apparently it can reduce nausea according to one post I read.

Zeld · 24/10/2024 00:31

I haven't had any nausea so far. I'm tempted to try the stomach next week, as I read that the suppression is better, but who knows?!

I started on Tuesday (thigh). I woke at 6am on day 2 with stomach pain which I’m guessing was a side effect but it wasn’t too severe, and anyway it at least tells me that the drug is in my system. No big signs of appetite suppression or losing food noise yet but I’m trying to manage expectations. From what I read some people have to wait a while, even a few weeks, so I’ll try to be patient!
