Wegovy -Started Today

Hi! Just had my first injection of Wegovy. Really thought I'd be squeamish about the needle but didn't feel it. I'm nervous I didn't do it in the right place - stomach - but was much easier than I expected. How long before I notice a change in appetite? Thank you!

It is different for different people. Some notice a difference in the first week and others need to go up the doses before much happens. Hang in there. I restarted yesterday and am a slow responder so not feeling anything yet.

I was on Ozempic and then Wegovy for quite a long time and I did ok but lost weight quite slowly. This was when there were shortages and the larger doses weren’t available. I then decided to try Mounjaro which worked really well for me for a while but then I suddenly developed bad side effects. I have decided to go back to Wegovy because I know it did help me and hopefully I’ll be able to get up to the 1.7 or 2.4 mg doses this time. Whenever I have dropped down the doses or had a break, I have gained weight back so I do feel this is something I need to do long-term.
