Hi I'm on 5mg mounjaro as 2.5 wasn't working and I'm eating a 1200 calorie diet sometimes 800 as just not hungry! I'm 17st. But don't seem to be losing as much as everyone. Any tips? I'm drinking water and having protein. For breakfast I had 3 eggs with mushrooms and a protein shake drink for lunch with grapes and then a beef casserole for dinner. Do I have to eat 1200 calories or can I eat less??

If you're not losing, then you need to reduce your calories some more and/or up your activity levels to burn more calories. Eat healthy and nutritious meals when you do eat but you don't have to get to 1200 each day. You can try twice a day or OMAD if you're able to.

3 boiled eggs a day is fine but maybe make it two instead. Boiled egg is healthier than scrambled or fried but as long as it's within a good calorie intake, whichever way is fine.

For many people with weight issues, 1200 daily calories will not help them lose weight but they can maintain with that.

Edited

If she's 17 stone then there is no way her maintenance calories are 1200 a day. That's physiologically impossible.

I suspect you’re going significantly above your calories.

hiw do you cook the eggs and mushrooms, do you use butter or oil?
what protein drink are you drinking exactly, some are very calorific, sorry and also edited to add how many grapes.
how big is the dinner portion and what fats and veg are in it, ie potatoes, dumplings, etc
what drinks do you have.
what snacks do you have, honestly, throughout the whole week.

if you’re not losing the simple fact is you’re consuming enough to maintain your current weight,

Also op, mounjaro doesn’t make you lose weight, there is no body chemistry that occurs. It dulls your appetite, so you subsequently lose weight through eating less, if you force yourself to eat more, you will not lose the weight,

however in this instance, the only explanation is you’re going way above the calories you think you are eating, and you need to look at it over an average week,

Are you measuring yourself? Have you lost any centimeters?

How is it going? Have you managed to lose some weight now and what mg level are you on now?
