Can I just check please

2.5 pen
1 dose 60 clicks is 2.5
30 clicks 1.25 so would be 3.75 does it have to be done as 2 doses or can I do 90 clicks and that is the dose ?

15 clicks 1.25

You'd have to do it in 2 stages.
You can't twist more than 60 clicks at a time, so you would do a full dose, change needle, twist 30 clicks and inject a second time to get 3.75 from a 2.5 pen.

Hey there .. wondering about this.. and the 1.25 dose.. was this for maintenance or did you start on this? Hoping to lose 10kg very slow

I’m only on my second dose so still getting used to how this all works - does anyone know if it is possible to do one full dose, then with the needle still in you (😬) twist 30 clicks and inject that? I have a box of spare needles so can swap out, but just wondering if that way was do-able as well. Thanks!

You must remove the pen and change the needle if you're going to administer more than one dose from a pen. If you tried to twist the pen with the needle still inside you you'd probably snap the needle off.

I think that is my biggest fear with needles, and especially the Mounjaro ones that are so fine they sometimes bend even with normal use never mind messing around with them when they are actually inside you!

Actually you don’t need to change the needle, the instructions themselves state if you don’t see a zero on the window to insert the needle back into the skin. I’m not advocating taking more than 2.5 from a 2.5 pen, but reinserting the needle is actually fine.
