Later order - still safe to use?

I've ordered my step up from MedExpress. Was dispatched Thursday and due to be delivered Friday, but wasn't. Royal Mail say it's coming tonight but will it still be ok to use? Medexpress have a 3 day lag on email responses, so it'll be Tuesday earliest before I get a response from them. Any advice appreciated

Eli Lilly website (and the storage instructions with the pen) say the pen should be discarded 30 days after it has been out of fridge temperatures.

Cold packing normally keeps cold for 48hrs so if dispatched on Thursday day 0 starts today. Depends on when you are starting injecting. If today fine, if not planning to use for a week I'd insist on a replacement unless they give you information direct from Eli Lilly saying it is okay for it to be outside the fridge for more than 48hrs.

When it comes, check if it's still cool and/or clear. If so, pop it in the fridge. You can start using it ASAP. I'd keep it in the fridge throughout till it's finished.

If it isn't, contact medexpress and ask for a replacement. I don't know their policy so they may or may not send you a new one.
