Curate and DPD problems

First time I’ve ordered from Curate and I didn’t realise they used DPD. Apparently dispatched Friday but DPD tried to deliver today - I work 1 hour away and DPD offer no other options at all apart from physically delivering to me and taking a photo of the open door. I left a note saying back gate was open but nope , they will just try to deliver tomorrow and then the next day etc. I can’t ask any neighbours to stay in my house and wait for it. I can’t take a day off . I’m stuck. apart from never ordering from them again anything else I can do? I have sent Curate a message today but I know they are slow to reply:(

The DPD site says you can ask them to drop your parcel at a local drop off shop for you to collect.

Unfortunately this isn’t an option for medications , that option along with all others is greyed out. Really frustrating I’d caution anybody else to order with Curate if they don’t work from home !

Frustrating but on the other hand it does make sense that medications should be securely delivered. Ocado won’t even leave a bottle of wine on the doorstep for obvious reasons.
