Mounjaro stopped working ?

I've been on 2.5mg for 4 weeks now, I've lost just over 1 stone. I have ordered 5mg to start next week but I was wondering if anyone found their weight loss kind of stopped ? Is this a sign I need to move up a dose ? I haven't put any weight on the last week, but also haven't lost any.
I'm not snacking and don't have a major appetite but I am still eating which I'm glad about as I do enjoy food. I haven't started any "proper" exercise yet but I am a busy mum of 2 under 2 and always on the go, walk into town and back most days etc.

Would love to hear of others experience as this is all new to me !

A stone on 2.5 the lowest dose is very good

It's low to get body used to it

Great worked well for you but they advise to go up to 5 at 4w and ideally to 7.5 10 etx every 4w

But if works well on 5 and suppression then no need to Increase to a higher dose

But the 2.5 is a starter

Yes hopefully I won't have to go any higher than the 5mg then, especially if I have good weight loss like I have on the starting dose. Thank you

I'm feeling Ok thanks. I'm quite tired though although the weather is not helping, raining here. I'm trying to do things like have nice baths, listen to music etc as think I got a buzz out of e.g. eating chocolate before, thinking of ways to treat myself in other ways. I have also stopped drinking, used to enjoy a glass of red wine but think that was adding to the weight gain as well.

Hope all goes well for you too, I might try weighing monthly / 2 weekly or something as it can get a bit obsessive.

My main concern about the higher doses is they get more expensive, and it's expensive anyway! especially the ones over 10mg.

You can get an extras dose out of the pen by using it the same way but with more force. It will feel like it won't turn but if you keep trying it will eventually turn to one again and that's the bonus.

That won't get everything out though. If you want to use every drop you will need to buy insulin syringes and draw it out. You will probably get enough that way to get a total dose of 3 - 4 mg which is a good way to bridge the gap between 2.5 and 5mg

That’s interesting @WorriedRelative. I have just started on Mounjaro and had seen the bonus dose mentioned but haven’t had chance to research it more yet. I was previously on Ozempic and then Wegovy and I have to say I much prefer that pen to the Mounjaro one.
