Stupid question about clicks....

Hi all, Silly question but... I'm currently on 5mg, I stupidly thought I could stay on this for 3 months as I was getting great suppression on 2.5.
How however I'm starting to feel the hunger and want to take more.
If I count clicks and give myself a dose of say 7.5mp from my 5mg pen, how many clicks is that, and will it show 0 at the end of the injection?? thanks!

You can't do more than 60 clicks on any pen, to go to the 1 position and a full dose. So on a 5mg pen you can't do more than 5mg in one injection. You could do two injections, one full dose and the second of 30 clicks for a half dose. You'd need a new needle for each injection. But, you'd use up the 4 doses in the pen quicker like that.

How many more 5mg doses on your 5mg pen do you have left?

I did this for last week's jab @LionAndEmperor13. I counted 45 clicks, injected in one side of my stomach, changed the needle, counted another 45 clicks, and injected that in the other side of my stomach. I did this after having had 2 x 5mg doses from the pen, so with the bonus dose, I should be able to do this again this week. So it will just be 4 doses in total from this pen for me, rather than the usual 4+bonus.

The other responses are correct, but I thought I'd attach this handy chart in case it helps.

Every pen, regardless of dose, has 60 clicks as the total of one dose. 60 clicks on a 2.5 pen gives you 2.5, 60 clicks of a 5 gives you 5, etc.

So 30 clicks on any pen will give you half a dose of that dose.

60 clicks of your 5 pen will give you 5, and 30 clicks will give you 2.5, the total of which will be 7.5

In the meantime I've had good suppression so will stick with 5mg for this week again. It's odd, I've had some days with really good suppression towards the end of the week, yet a couple of days - days maybe 2 and 4 post injection, where I've really struggled with hunger.

In the end I decided to take the usual 5mg dose (60 clicks) and added another 12 clicks, so that should be 6pm total. (I used a different needle and injection area). thanks for the help.
