Some questions - ordering for 2

Hi all
so hope you don’t mind but I have a couple of questions.
My dh and I have decided to start this whole process. Does anyone else order for 2 - it it best to start two separate accounts?
Second question….my dh works away a lot abroad but lots of shortish trips. How long does the pen last in the fridge - if he missed a dose by a day as he was flying home a day late would that matter if he controlled his cravings??

You will be required to have two separate accounts because each of you will need to complete the consultation questionnaire and provide photos/id. Unless any of the providers allow some kind of family or group account where you can add family members, but I don't know of any.

Before you first use the pen, it will last unopened until the expiry date printed on it. Once you've started using it you have 30 days to complete the 4 doses. You can do an injection a day or two early or late, as long as there's at least 3 days between injections.

I think generally the expiry dates are at least 9 months from when they are manufactured. It then depends how long the supplier has them in stock before sending out to you. I guess they'd have to have at least a month left on the date for them to be able to send it out to you. But you wouldn't typically keep them for months before using. I order the next pen about 3 weeks into using the current one. You might decide to stay on the same dose level, or move up or down depending on how you're reacting it. I did 2.5mg, then 5mg, then 7.5mg and am staying on 7.5mg for the moment. But if I feel it's not working as well, or working too well I might adjust up or down as needed. So I won't order the next pen until I've decided what dosage I want.

They last for longer than 30 days - at least wegovy does. Thats how long it lasts outside the fridge.

Yes, good point, sorry I had completely assumed you were talking about Mounjaro. My comments on the pens applies to Mounjaro only, no idea about Wegovy.
