Have people been using your codes?

I see loads of busy threads on MJ referral codes. I’m just curious whether anyone has actually used your code? Just seems like there’s endless codes being posted so the chances of someone finding and using yours seems slim? Unless you’re on the first page perhaps.

I went onto the code thread and just chose 1 at random, it worked, so i thanked them and put my own code up.

Yeah, there’s this one user on the main thread who spams their code as soon as anyone else comments. They’ve posted several times on the last page alone. Bizzare behaviour.

No, But i only ordered 2 days ago, its my 2nd pen. I changed supplier, as my 1st was from Asda , but I found cheaper, with a code.

My first pen I used someone's code and thanked them for it as I was grateful of the discount. I won't spam my codes as it feels like pressure to others. Yes it helps my money and theirs too but I don't want to feel its a battle. If that makes sense.

Yeah I agree. I think there should be a bit of fairness with the discount code thread where the same person can’t keep spamming their code, to give others a chance to have theirs used.

If you spot someone spamming codes, please report the post. MNHQ are really on the ball with removing reported posts which helps keep things slightly more fair.

I did use a code when I stared and my code has been used since, despite me feeling very uncomfortable about posting it. I have since moved prescriber tbh partly because I did not like the whole code thing!

Unpopular opinion: I think codes are great, I share mine regularly and I don’t feel it’s spamming or unfair. I’m taking time out of MY day to share/re-share it; to respond to people’s questions and be helpful. Everyone can choose what code they use, I’m sure a lot of it is random. But I’ve also had a couple of people message me to say they’ve found my responses to their posts helpful and have used my code as a thank you.

To answer the question, yes people are using my code, for which I’m very very grateful because I just got 1 pen that was totally free for me, and have a credit on my account that will fully cover 3 more. So I think I’m done paying for my MJ, I think these 4 pens will see me through the end (maybe 1 more, we shall see). As I said, I am eternally thankful, but I also do put in the time and effort here to make this happen for me.

Wow! Is that around £600-£800 of account credit? That’s eye watering. It’s great for you, but it sort of ties in with articles such as this one suggesting it breaks regulation rules.

If you’re giving advice and someone wants your code as a thank you, then I don’t see that as spamming the code. On the last page of the main thread, one poster has commented 10 times, multiple times per day, straight after others comment. I find that behaviour to be spamming.

I put up my ZAVA code when I started with ZAVA back in June and it has been used 6 times.

But I changed provider as the ZAVA pen arrived on time but warm, I used it withi 30 days but it made we unsure about using them again and having to time my pen incase it arrived warm again. I also didn't like not knowing when it was going to arrive to be in to receive it so I have never used them. 🙈

I might use them if I end up on the higher doses, but for now I am sticking to <5mg and the price differences between my new provider with a discount code and ZAVA was not significant for the lower doses.

I used one of the Voy codes on Saturday. I think the username began with Jamie (not 100% on this).

It is just for 10% off at Asda (and I get the same). I expect to be on Mounjaro for up to two years (including some maintenance phase - I hope Asda change their policy on this before I get there), so I'll have 10% off for the duration now - if I stick with Asda.

It has just been posted once in the official thread (and once in the non-official but group sharing thread before that). People just use it - I've only had one person actually say they had (via a 'thanks'). I've never put it in any other thread.

I've literally never had a code used 😂 I try to re post them from time to time (especially as I do actually like the provider I'm using now) but there's a lot of us posting them now.

I do think rules around maintenance may relax as more is discovered about MJ, so hopefully things will change

@cakewench ahh hopefully someone will use it soon! I noticed the spam posts I mentioned earlier were removed so that should give everyone a fairer shot!

I had my medexpress code used once ( only posted once) and I was thrilled. No-one tagged me or anything so I couldn’t thank them but if you are reading this thank you! I will post again next month, I’d feel guilty getting more than one a month, there are lots of people who post, enough to share the joy! That’s just how I feel!

MedExpress would be cheapest, if you haven’t ordered from there before? It costs the same, but you can get £40 off with a code. Happy to PM if you need a code.
