Christmas target - Mounjaro users

Does anyone else have a target in mind for Christmas?
I'm currently 15st 9lbs and have decided I'd like to aim for 14st by Christmas.
So 23lbs to lose in just over 15 weeks.

Should be doable if I continue to lose what I currently do weekly.

I’d like to be in the 9s. 9 stone 13 would do! That’s just over a stone to go for me, so I think I can do it. I’ve lost 34 pounds in 12 weeks, so it should be fairly easy.

I haven’t been 9 stone something for quite some time.

Yes! I'm getting closer, started MJ in April 2024,
Highest recorded weight 17st 2
Started on Mj weight 15.10
Current weight 11.1
Goal christmas weight 9st

That’s amazing! I’m the same current weight as you. I’d love to get to 9 stone. I’m fairly tall (5’ 8.5) so it might be too low. Mind you, I was 8stone 5 when I got married and I didn’t look too thin. But I’m older now, obvs.

It's just under twelve weeks to Christmas and I'm 15st 11lb so my goal is going to be seeing 14st something on the scales by Christmas.

I started in August hovering around the 17 stone mark and I thought of myself as "17 stone" if I can think of myself as "14 stone" it will be a massive psychological boost to me, going into next year. And it is perfectly doable.

@Sayingitstraight Thats about where I started, so inspirational, well done.

🎄target - 17st

11 x Saturday weigh ins left and 17lbs to go, so still very do-able.

If I have an average 2lb loss I would hit it 2 weeks early and it gives some wiggle room for pre-Christmas events involving food/drink!

JanetSnakeholeMacklin · 06/10/2024 09:42

Yes, my Christmas target is to be less than 200 lbs. I only have 11.6lbs to go to hit that, so I should meet the goal 🤞 as I'm averaging about 7-8lbs a month at this stage (6 months in).

NewLifter · 06/10/2024 10:19

I'm hoping to reach my goal weight by the end of October. So I hope to maintain between then and Christmas.

I'm hoping for 11 and a half stone, which would mean about another stone. But I'm quite a slow loser and so expecting to start losing less than my current average of just over a pound a week.

Revising my Christmas target. 11 and a half stone just not going to happen. Only managed to lose 2lbs in the last month and am still stubbornly in the 12s.

As this will be my first Christmas with all my children and grandchildren (one son lives overseas and alternating with other set of grandparents and covid restrictions meant they haven't been in UK for Christmas since my granddaughter was born nearly 4 years ago), I want it to be special. I'm on 10 and suppression is highest on Wednesday and Thursday. I start a new pen on 22nd Dec. I have a 7.5 in the fridge and thinking of switching to that. Had been thinking of using it to titrate down for maintenance but doubt now I'll be there before it expires in April. My hope is that I will then be able to enjoy a reasonable Christmas day but without going mad.

So new target is to be 11 anything by Christmas and to still be 11 something at the start of the New Year.

@Fromthesidelines how much have you lost already? Sounds to me like enough that your family will already see a real difference!

Thanks @MyPearlMentor. About 2 and a half stone since the beginning of May, which I'm very happy with. Reading about people's amazing losses before I started, I had anticipated it being more but actually it feels ok to take my time getting to where I want to be. And I don't know where that is till I get there but, as I'm older, may well be above BMI 25!

BatFacedGirlll · 17/10/2024 12:22

I've also revised my Christmas target. I wanted to be 9 stone 12 by Christmas which would have been a loss of 70 lbs but I've managed to get to 9 stone 7 already so I'm aiming for 9 stone 2 for Christmas which will be 80 lbs off and that's my final target

That's an amazing loss!

Yes, my Christmas/New year target is to be sub 200 lbs.

I started at 242 lbs, so that will be a 3 stone + loss. I'm down 29 lbs (that has taken 17 weeks), so I need to lose another 13 lbs to get there. That feels doable but not certain. We'll see. It is my first major sub-target so it would be nice if I have met it ready for the New year.
