Got myself into a state. So nervous about injecting each week. Horrible side effects last week so extra anxious. Just taken my 3rd 2.5 mounjaro jab. In my haste to get it over with I think I messed it up. Not sure it went in so I did it again! What was I thinking? Now I'm sat here shaking and scared of what's going to happen to me. Please someone reassure me. Can't even tell by looking at the pen how many doses are left!

OK, first take a deep breath. There is a way to check how many doses you've had - look closely and you'll see 4 lines on the side of the clear barrel. The plunger goes down one line for each dose. Have a look now and come back to tell me.

When you say "you did it again" do you mean that you wound the pen out all the way to the number 1 mark and then injected again?

The absolute worse case scenario is that you've injected 5mg instead of 2.5. Which might produce side effects, but might not.

So according to the picture, you've had 3 doses and got 1 more to go. That's OK isn't it, you were taking 3rd dose? You can only take 2 doses at the same time if you wound the clicker right round to number 1, twice, so you can't do that by accident.

Yep agree that you've got one dose left, so you've just done the third dose. I can't see how you could have accidentally wound the pen all the way out and done a second injection accidentally. It sounds like you just put the needle in a second time, which won't have done anything.

What a relief! Yes that's what it should say. I really need to pull myself together....feel a bit silly now but thank you again for coming to my rescue!

You're right....I definitely didn't wind it all the way out again! I have a very real needle phobia and I make this into a huge drama, which I need to get over if this is going to work for me!
