Mounjaro red itchy patch after injection

Injected for the first time this morning. Now have a red, itchy mark about a 2" shape around the injection site.

I know this can be a common side effect, but I've stressed myself out googling and seeing pictures of people's huge red bruises and folks who turned out to be allergic.

It's come up so quickly! Seeking some reassurance from anyone who's had the same?

It's quite common, I've not had it yet but I take a daily antihistamine for allergies so maybe that might suppress any reaction.

You should find that an oral antihistamine and some topical antihistamine cream should help to calm it down. It's not a side effect that means you need to stop taking the medication.

I get this - goes away after a few days. Doesn’t stop me using the medication
