I think all of those who started early aug so heading to end of 2.5 - that we need to go to 5

Def food noises and wanting snacky stuff

I'm tempted to do 5 Fri instead of last 2.5

Thanks @Mum0ntherun appreciate the advice and it is something I've thought about but as soon as I bump up the cals during a restrictive period I gain at a rate of knots. And I can only lose if I restrict. Bit of a vicious circle really but needs doing.

I use the Nutricheck app to make sure I get a good balance of foods. Currently trying to swap out some carbs for protein to see if that helps.

My bastard body just seems to adjust megafast whenever I lose weight. I don't want to go below 1200 a day so I'll persevere.

I feel sure that one day soon it will turn a corner and I'll be posting a 4 or 5 loss!

@Blondeshavemorefun Sickness woman here! I’ll be moving to a half way dose on Thursday which will be my fifth dose. I imagine my nausea and inability to eat will remain pretty constant but I don’t want to be completely dysfunctional by doubling the dose at this stage. 28 days in and I’ve (still / just) lost a stone but the scales haven’t moved for nearly two weeks. I don’t care as the lack of food noise is such a total joy 🤩

I’ve just done my first fitness class in a long time - it was a really intense bootcamp style one and I feel utterly sick and horrible now. I ate dinner beforehand - was only fish, some lentils and salad and was a good 90 mins before but it so nearly came back up I think I’m going to have to not eat beforehand next time.

God, @weaseleyes @eeeeeeeee absolutely on team emotional eating too, and wondering how to fill the gap (dealing with my feelings??), My friends who have had alcohol problems and then gone dry have said similar things about this sudden - space - which you have to deal with when you can't plug it with booze, or food.

This is exactly how I feel! You can’t plug it with anything…I’m sort of being forced to deal with my feelings and tackle the cause of my stress. To be honest, it’s taught me that I need to speak up much sooner and not tolerate so much BS (particularly at work) because it’s impacted my health more than I realised. I’m finding the Noom app really useful, because it goes over the psychology of weight loss with you and takes disordered thinking x

I found week 3 was really hard. My appetite suppression was non-existent after a couple of days. I overate crap food. Felt really ashamed. My weight fluctuated and I was worried I’d gain, but it evened out to a maintenance.

Week 4 has been better, good appetite suppression. I have finally broken that plateau and am losing weight again. I was sick of seeing the same numbers on the scales over the past week! Plus, I am finally feeling like I’ve lost weight - less sluggish when out and about, faster walking pace.

Thursday is my jab day where I’ll take my 1st dose of 5mg for week 5. Looking forward to hearing everyone’s experiences as we continue this journey together

My replacement (as melted and been 72hrs) 5 is arriving tomorrow

I will def use it fri

Yes means I don't use my 4th 2.5 unless Jab it tomorrow but think that will be too close to Fri

But def noticed hungry and want bad food so need to go up to 5 I think

@MidLifeResurgence74 I just hope I don't feel awful on 5 as first two weeks on 2.5 was very nauseous and headaches and tired !!!!!

@eeeeeeeee similar. Ate chocolate and crisps which I Havnt done for a couple of weeks

I only weigh Fri but wouldn't be surprised if gain or lesst sts due to bad eating

I was going to use the bit left in my pen for my 5th jab but I'm not so sure now. My 5mg pen arrived today so I might just use that on Sunday.

Yesterday I had no appetite at all but this evening I'm starting to graze. A couple of dried apricots, a few cashews etc. I'll see how the rest of the week pans out I think before I decide on my next dose.

I was doing so well first two weeks but since my pen jammed on third jab and not convinced I got the whole dose I've been wobbling

Hence my new hopefully 5mg cold pen will arrive Tom by 1pm and I will use it fri

I too was a bit picky yday but it’s week five for me (bonus dose was about 3.2mg ) and I’ve come to realise that’s ok because this is a long haul, and building in treats from time to time is part of life. Eventually we will all have to come off MJ and have treats from time to time. I think the mentality one needs to have is not to see that as failure because (in my case) that’s where the circle of crashing down on diet begins, and I recognise it’s generally not a healthy outlook. Also - I think sometimes a day of a bit more boosts your metabolism!
