Mounjaro - preparation?

So my first prescription has been approved and due to be dispatched! I’m excited and a little nervous and want to be as prepared as possible if anybody has any tips?

My son is T1 diabetic so the needle part doesn’t really phase me, but possible side effects to consider and anything I could do to keep them at bay would be good, as well as any advice for supplements people have found handy?

I’d like to get everything in and ready before I take my first dose.

Hi, I suggest you read all threads, but especially ‘continuing mounjaro’ which has good informative links. Supplements and side effects are discussed a lot!
Good luck!

I wish I'd had the tablets that stop diarrhoea handy when I went up to the therapeutic dose!

Mint/teabags or ginger in case of burping or queasiness.

Get yourself a couple of good quality protein shakes, just on the off chance you can’t really face food the day after injection. You don’t want to starve yourself.

I forgot to say that it’d be good to be prepared with a few small clean meals. Your appetite might be suppressed immediately and it is important to keep your body nourished.
