Injection site reaction

On week 6 of Mounjaro and noticed I have a large red itchy patch around my latest injection site. Has anyone had this? If so, did anything help for future injections?

I randomly started getting this around week 6 too. Happens after each injection now. Normal. Sometimes I put some baby cream oh (like sudokrem), sometimes I don’t but it’s always gone a day or two before the next injection day

This happened to me when I reached 10 dosage, but I've not had any other side effects at all. I found antihistamine cream helped.
I do react to mosquito bites, and I think it was worse during the hot weather.

Thanks. Probably a coincidence but I also react badly to insect bites. Will try antihistamine cream and see if that helps.

I had the same reaction this time that was week 9 and not had it before. I put some sudacream on it. I too always react to insect bites & have sensitive skin. I’m due to inject again tomorrow so bit nervous where to inject this time.

I've had a slight bruise every week but that's all. Did you possibly scratch it?

It’s quite common. I had it from 5mg and the site was really itchy for several days afterwards each week. Used a hydrocortisone cream on it. Now after my second 5mg pen and on to 7.5 it’s not really happening any more, so hopefully it won’t last for you either, OP.

Yeah. I put up a post a few weeks ago. Getting itchy from week 3. Week 8 now and still mega itch so using HC45 in the am and pm Also a daily hayfever pill anyway as I'm so allergic to anything.

Have my ja on a Thursday night (just done) and by Satu I'm getting the itch. Fairly bad on Sunday then stopped by Tuesday.
