Mounjaro and TTC

I've tried looking on Google for answers about Mounjaro then TTC.

I was hoping to start TTC early next year however I desperately need to lose weight.

I read you have to be off it 8 weeks/2 months.

Has this been the case for anyone else?

I’m not entirely sure what the question is because you have answered it yourself - yes, you should allow 2 months between stopping Mj and TTC. The advice is that if you fall pregnant while on it (accidentally I guess?), you stop taking it. So yes, I’d say you would want to come off it and then start TTC. That being said, weight loss does make it easier to get pregnant so hopefully things happen quickly for you on both!

Been on mounjaro for a week and although I take senna every night I’m slightly constipated and never feel like I’ve 💩 enough is this normal?

It builds up in your system and takes 8wks to come out. If you have a lot of weight to lose, it will probably take you the best part of a year. Losing weight will help so much when ttc and pregnancy, so why don’t you give yourself a year, see how you get on and then start trying.
