Hi, I have the contraceptive implant. I have had this for around 15 years apart from the break to have my ds around 11/12 years ago.I hope I have read it right that all will be ok whist on mounjaro and I don't need to use a barrier method?

Yes that's correct, though the prescriber from Oushk pharmacy did say in a webinar that rapid loss impacts hormones and boosts fertility so she did advise caution, but really official guidance just says oral contraceptive can fail.

My understanding is it’s only the oral pill because this slows down digestion so it might not be absorbed.
