Mounjaro UK Facebook group: is it gone or have I been booted?

I joined the group (affiliated with Oushk pharmacy) a few months ago after being the link in a MJ thread in here. I accessed it last Thursday for the amazing spreadsheet for cheapest pharmacies but I went looking for the group today as I'd not seen it in my feed for days and it's gone?

Is it gone? Or have I been blocked? I haven't posted or commented in there for ages so I can't sew it being that tbh, but the group was so string I can't see why it would close either 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was a member of two groups and I think there was discussion yesterday that one had gone.
There's still the lovely Mumsnet group though.

Sometimes whoever set up a group and is admin/moderator wants to stop that role (and all the notifications that come with it) but nobody else wants to step up. I expect somebody started it up because they were going onto the injections themselves and now they've completed their weightloss journey they want to spend time on other things.

I was on a sales page group that got archived, so not completely closed but although you could still read any posts there you couldn't comment, reply, join the group or add a new post. The person had originally set it up as a platform for clearing out their own house because the village had no sales page at the time. Years later they just got sick of running it.

Emeralpies · 18/08/2024 03:36

It was taken down by Facebook as they had been maliciously reported as selling drugs. They have been allowed to set up a new group called Mounjaro UK Back Up. Sorry I can't figure out how to link to the page.

Collywibbles · 18/08/2024 05:55

There is one now called Medicated Weight Loss UK which had to change its name from Mounjaro & Wegovy Weight Loss after fb crackdown on these things. It is affiliated with Get Trim but there is lots of useful info in there. The threads on here and t@ttle are probably better for sensible support though. The price comparison spreadsheet is shared in there too.

I can't find the new group on fb - I was a member of the last one & found it so useful. I also really liked the spreadsheet with the discounts. Can anyone send me a link to the new group? Or one that still has the discount spreadsheet?

I'd be interested in the link too! I'm going to start mounjaro next month. I asked to join one Facebook group but no idea if it's the right one! There was another who said they only work with MedExpress which seemed a bit useless if we're looking for comparisons!

@TidyDancer @HaleyBrookeandPeyton

Does this link work?

Yes that's great, thank you @Emeralpies! I'll join later today. 🙂

Thanks everyone, I found my way back. There's a lot of weirdness going on with this group on Facebook. Is there somewhere on MN to discuss sourcing the skinny jecs in a cost effective way? It seems that might be what's causing the crackdown over there.

I've never seen any posts on there about people using compounds.

NewLifter · 25/08/2024 17:56

Me neither! It's a great group!

There are a couple of web pages still keeping up to date prices for registered pharmacies

monj. co. uk

MissMounjaro

if you google you should be able to find them

CrystalStarMoon · 22/11/2024 22:51

This group got removed by Facebook it’s now called Mounjaro UK | weight loss injection support

spoonbillstretford · 11/06/2025 09:06

They are still being deleted, I joined another with thousands of members and it was so useful- last about three days. So annoying.

KrankyKumquat · 11/06/2025 09:26

@spoonbillstretford
There's a couple of good subs on Reddit which do everything the FB groups did but without the repeated FB crackdowns and weird moderation:
https://www.reddit.com/r/mounjarouk/s/1GgbIVTmep
https://www.reddit.com/r/UKMounjaro/s/Y1PYsNrQ87

And for maintenance:

Thanks, I've just seen those.

All MJ groups on FB are having to be cautious now. I think groups/posts are being reported if there are people encouraging non-approved taking of MJ, discount referrals, use of non-registered providers. Personally I think it is a good thing as it was getting out of control with misinformation being spread.

Mangowarrior · 13/08/2025 08:04

What are subs re reddit?

Whilst I agree with clamping down on the misinformation I found it impossible to ask anything without using words like injection which is the way you administer Mounjaro.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 13/08/2025 14:27

@Mangowarrior subs on Reddit are a bit like fb groups but for grownups! 😂 Click on the links below and come and have a read through.
