Not sure if this is a totally redundant idea but my husband wants to start and I'm going up a dose as been on it a while. I know that after 30 days I need to discard the medication but I have lots of spare needles so if there anything risky about getting a 7.5 and the he takes 2.5mg and I take 5mg. I've read that there someone in the medication for 30 days that stops bacteria and also see lots of people splitting thier doses into two a week so just pondering this!

I've not done this but just curious if it's something to consider?

Where this falls apart is when he gets up to a higher dose and you are also on a higher dose.

It likely will be ok for this occasion, as previously mentioned it just might not work down the line

It does mean lots of pokes into the syringe so be double careful with hygiene. It also means he is getting a very small but concentrated volume of liquid which we've no way of knowing if that effects absorption. I often wonder if the standard volume of 0.6mls is for a reason as it's the same regardless of dose (may just be for ease of manufacturing - standard Kwik pen - but I really don't know). Maybe you could do a bit of research on that if you've any concerns?

Thank you! Not sure if I would do it but just popped into my head and wondering if others did do this. I didn't think about the concentration as there must be a reason they don't have one concentration and just different dose sizes 🤔
