Years ago I used MFP and it was ok but some of the nutritional information was a bit dubious.
I've downloaded Nutracheck for my mounjaro journey (didn't realise it cost £6 pm tho) which I began at the weekend and it seems good so far - nutritional information seems more accurate than MFP.
However, I'm confused about how many calories I should actually be eating. When I put my numbers into Nutracheck it said 1244 per day. However, if I use a TDEE calculator elsewhere it says my maintenance is just over 2000 so (if I understand correctly), I should be taking 500 off that to lose weight meaning 1500 per day?
I don't want to lose weight too quickly as I really can't cope with further hair loss after the menopause years and I want to try to avoid lots of loose skin (unable to exercise much due to disability).
Can any advise on what's working for them please with TDEE and the reduction of calories?
