Changing injection date

Hello, due to a delay in my first delivery, I started my injections on Tuesday. I’d like to change the day to a Sunday or a Monday just for the sake of it being at the end/start of the week, it should have initially arrived in time to do this had it not been delayed. Is there any point in changing the injection day, or should I keep going as it?

I think I can inject after 72 hours, but I don’t know if that’s a waste of product as the drug will still be in my system.

Also I’m thinking ahead, and what if my next pen has delivery issues too? I may need to change the day in the future …

You can skip a day or more, and on the lower starting doses it's likely fine tk bring it forward a day

@struggless you can move your jab day up and down as long as there’s minimum of 4 days between jabs (regardless of dose).

I remember the first doses were quite potent for me, so I’d advise you to move up a couple of times instead of back. So next time, inject on Thu. The week after on Sat. And the week after on Mon. It will also last you a tad longer.

There’s high demand and a lot of delays with approvals and deliveries at the moment, so you might want to give yourself plenty of time when you order (i.e. place your next order 1-2 weeks before you’re due to finish your pen).

Yes of course - you can take it whatever day you want. Just gradually moved it each week. However I personally wouldn't move it to Sun or Mon as you will likely have less effect over the weekend then.

Just make sure and order in plenty of time next time. You should be able to see on your account when you can order again. Lots of us use the left overs in the pen for a sneaky 5th dose too.

thanks all, really useful advice. I do feel like my appetite has slightly returned so maybe it’s better to inject just before the weekend for full benefit.

Plus the tip about going longer between jabs when moving the day is great. I’ll probably delay my next jab until Wednesday next week. Then delay again and inject the week after on a Thursday and see how the balance is across the week.

I started on 2.5 on a Friday as wanted the weekend for any major side effects. I'm now on my third dose of 5 and as I haven't had any massive side effects so far I'm moving my dose to Tuesday. I injected on a Thursday two weeks in a row, then on a Wednesday and will do another one on a Weds before moving back again to Tuesday. It's worked well.
