Curious to know how long it takes to feel any side effects etc or more positively my sugar cravings stop?

Just had my first injection

Congratulations on your first jab!

One thing I have learned about this magical stuff is that we ALL respond completely differently! I took my first on a Wednesday evening and woke up the next day with a metallic taste (still with me now!) but not much else. To say I was cynical would be an understatement! 😂

Over the course of the first week, I slowly began to notice weird and subtle changes to my appetite and to the constant food dialogue in my head.

Now in my 4th week on 5mg and have a little bit of an appetite at meal times, occasional thoughts of food, fairly limited capacity before feeling full and no cravings for anything other than smoked fish! 😂😂

For some people, it hits within hours and for others can take higher doses before any effects 🤷‍♀️ Enjoy your journey!

As the PP has said, it can be different for everyone. Some people don't get much of a response for the whole 4 weeks on the 2.5mg first-level dose, and need to get up to higher amounts to see an effect.

I think I was unusual (or a strong placebo effect!) in that I noticed the difference almost immediately. I've not really had any side effects either. From the first day I injected, by the next mealtime, I felt less hungry and more full after eating a smallish meal.

I haven't had any sugar cravings, or a desire to snack since then, and I'm in my first week of 5mg.
