The marketing literature says it can help people lose 'up to' 20% of their body weight. I'm seven months in. It's going well, if not exactly as quickly as I might have liked. I anticipate needing to stay on it for one whole year, possibly a bit longer. I just wondered at what point I can expect the weight loss to slow down, or even stop altogether? In theory, I've only got 8 more pounds to go and that's my 20% done, but I need to lose more than that. I still won't be in the 'healthy' BMI range.

I've lost two stone so far and I've never managed to lose more than 1 lb a week. In the first two or three months it was less than that, really very slow. But now I am consistently losing 1lb a week, if that continues I'll be at my goal by January.

Has anyone found that they just stopped losing weight, or that the loss slowed down so much that it became hard to justify the expense?
