Extra dose

Hi all.

Sorry if I am being dim but can anyone explain how I get the extra dose out please? I have spare needles.
Do I just put a new needle on and then twist the measuring arm round like a loon?

You can either withdraw the solution with an insulin needle (0.6ml is a full dose) and then inject or give the pen a 'hard twist'. I've not managed to do it myself but I hear pliers or teeth are helpful to get it past the stuck bit. I've also heard you should stop twisting just before you hit 1 as the pen sometimes falls apart at this point.

Ah Ok. Thanks very much. I am rather ham fisted so a pen falling apart wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility! 😂

Using a syringe is probably the most fool proof option as it's very easy and doesn't risk the pen falling to bits or the plunger failing to move down fully.

I did my first bonus one a couple of weeks ago, was very surprised at how easy it was, I just turned the clicks as usual. Hope the next one(s) are just as easy!
