Asking about specific area as trusts make their own decisions on funding. Usual postcode lottery. Have googled but can’t find any up to date information. Trust has changed names a few times which doesn’t help.
I am self funding but would like to know if anyone has actually been through weight management services to get the point of prescription?
I believe up to tier three used to be offered at Spire Hospital Southampton on behalf of NHS. Think the trust had decided not to fund tier four (surgery) at all. I could be wrong though.
