Mounjaro effects wearing off after second dose

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has experienced similar with Mounjaro? My first 2.5mg dose felt amazing, immediate loss of food noise and decreased appetite. It was slowly wearing off towards the end of the week but the thought of getting to my second dose today kept me going. Did my injection this morning and I'm not feeling massively different.

I know you increase the dose over time but I'm a bit disappointed that there feels such a difference between my first and second doses. I've still got 3 more doses from the 2.5mg pen (if I use the bonus dose) before I move up to 5mg, I'm worried that I'm not going to see the effects I hoped for after such a good start!

Anyone?

The reason you start on 2.5mg is just to prepare your body for the higher doses so you don't get as many side effects. Many people have no effect at all on 2.5 but you just have to trust the process and work up the doses at 4 weekly intervals
There is no way to make it work better or faster so the best thing is to use the time building your eating and exercise habits

I know you're right and my logical side is trying to be patient. Guess everyone wants to be the person who loses a stone in the first month on 2.5mg!
