Has anyone had diarrhoea and vomiting with mounjaro?
I started on 2.5mg in May, and moved up to 5mg after a month.
Ten days ago I came down with D&V, not entirely unexpected as both DM and DD had had a stomach bug.
But I just can’t shake it off. I was ok after the last bout of diarrhoea on Friday evening, then woke up in the early hours of today with indigestion (which I’ve had a few times since starting Mounjaro), which turned to very watery diarrhoea (sorry for the TMI) and I also vomited.
I skipped last week’s injection on the advice on the GP, but did take it on Saturday evening, eight days late. A different GP who I spoke to today now says to leave it for a couple of weeks and get myself right before trying it again.
I do think it probably is a bug but a little bit of me wonders if Mounjaro is causing it or at least contributing to it.
You’d think weight would be falling off me but I’m only about 9lbs down…
