Why not? They are usually part of the assessment

DayIntarnishedarmour · 19/07/2024 15:13

I guess the photos are the company being responsible in trying to make sure people who want to buy their products need it and aren’t just trying to lose half a stone for summer etc.

i just took two pics - front and side views from my neck down to knees. I wore cycling shorts and a sports bra. It’s not like whoever is looking at them knows you and if it means you get the medication, it’s a necessary first step.

DayIntarnishedarmour · 19/07/2024 15:15

Btw I lost 2.5 stone and am now a healthy BMI for the first time in my adult life and my blood pressure is the best it’s been since my 20s and my hip and knee joints are less painful when I walk. I have half a stone to reach goal and then maintain that. It’s been so worth it.

I was wearing a hoody and leggings in mine, you don't have to be naked, or Bra and pants. They also ask to let your doctor know, I would recommend you do because they can then monitor you to make sure you are well.

SilenceInside · 19/07/2024 15:42

No one will see them apart from the doctor checking whether or not the medicine is suitable for you. If you were to go to the GP they would be able to see you and check that you (roughly) weigh what you have put down for your weight.

I just wore leggings and t shirt that was too small but stretchy so I could still get into it. For discount codes, there's a whole thread of them in this section. Lots of people going with Voy and giving their discount codes.

OhHelloMiss · 19/07/2024 16:00

Do you only have a small amount of weight to lose?

There have been a fair few posts like this trying to dodge the photos to fool the company into dispensing

HundredMilesAnHour · 19/07/2024 19:55

You're very welcome to use my Voy discount code:

You will need to send photos though. I didn't want to either but I made myself do it because I wanted to start on the injections. I just wore gym leggings and a T-shirt.

I use Voy, they ask for photos but you can wear tracksuit bottoms and tight fitting top. Think just to show that you are being truthful about weight, will also ask for photo ID. Voy will not inform your GP if you don't want.

Feel free to use my discount code and receive £85 off your order plus I will receive a discount.

You can be fully clothed, you just need to be able to see the shape of your body.

Hellijoy · 20/07/2024 07:09

Morning - I wore my pyjama shorts and top (it was first thing) and didn’t include my face. You are unlikely to find a provider who doesn’t ask but I’ve only been asked for them once so it’s not an ongoing thing thankfully!

im with zava - my 15% discount code is REFHWYH8.

TheShellBeach · 20/07/2024 09:30

Here's a code for £85 off your first pen, OP. And you just need to be in a t shirt and leggings.

NewLifter · 20/07/2024 09:45

As others have said, it's just fairly tight fitting clothes so they can see that you're overweight - don't worry. It's actually good to be forced into taking 'before' pics 😀 good luck!

@someon I sent mine in fairly baggy pyjamas to voy and they approved it. They also let you opt out of telling your GP if you don't want to let them know. I think most of the others do. Their coaching has been really good too :) mine what apps me every few days to see how I'm getting on. Happy for you to message me if you've got any questions

https://joinvoy.com/r/U-z3WNcM9wp5 and shamelessly dumping my code that'll get you £85 off because it gets me some money off my next one too :) good luck! It really is a wonder drug!
